Runs On Vista: Updated to run on Windows Vista with new Windows Xp/Vista style buttons

Automated Reversal Sorting: When you add new reversals, the software will insert them in-between the other reversals in proper order of time

Automated Clustering: With the Cluster button, you can automatically calculate and list out all Clusters after adding the reversals to your transcript

Tabbed File Browsing: You can now open multiple files in one window and switch between them by simply selecting the Tab you wish to view. You may still open multiple windows too.

Pop-Up Toolbar: Very cool feature! All bookmarks and selected areas have a small flag that on mouse over, pops up a small toolbar with all the basic Play and Bookmark functions. A real convenience and time saver.

Audio Level Indicators: The Record Audio Level indicators (L/R channels) now shows the audio levels full time now. No need to do a test recording anymore to check the audio levels first. Excellent improvement.

Voice Operated Recording: RS Pro now has a fully customizable Voice Operated Recording feature that operates your computer much like the analog Reversing Machines. Excellent feature for saving disk space and editing time.

Automated Timed Recording: Great time saving feature that allows you to record material while you are away from your computer. Fully customizable Start, Stop and recording length time settings.

Automatic Transcript Loading: Open any audio file that you have previously generated a Transcript for and RS Pro will now load that Transcript automatically into both the full featured Auto-Dump box or the Quick Transcript box.

Speed Controls: Big improvement in the speed controls which have been replaced with two horizontal slider controls, one for the Forwards speed and one for the Reverse speed and they now adjust in 1% increments both slower and faster.

Change Speed Gears: A great new innovative feature that is pictured as a Gear on a button and saves time and effort. One Gear is for fast Forward/Reverse and toggles between 50%, 100%, 200%, and 300% of speed, the second Gear is a fine adjustment of speed between 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, and 110% both Forwards/Backwards. The third Gear sets the speed back to 100%.

.WMA Export: RS Pro now supports exporting you audio files into the .Wma file format when used in conjunction with Microsoft's .Wma Utility (see installation instructions for more details).

Pause/Restart Button: A Pause/Restart button has been added in the Record Audio Window to allow you to Pause your recording and then Restart right where you left off.

Play/Stop Button: Play Forward, Play Reverse, and Stop buttons have been added to the Bookmark Window which is an excellent time saver if you cannot remember what was said in your Bookmark you can now play it while typing the dialogue into the Bookmark text boxes.

Bookmark Display: You can now choose between two different types of Bookmark displays. The original dashed line box whose size is now fully customizable and the new colorful mountain style bookmarks which are fully customizable too.

X-Y Status Bar: Great improvements in the X-Y Status bar that can now display the values in Sample Heights, Percentages, or Decibels with a simple right click on the Status Bar display.

Graphic Equalizer: New in this release of RS Pro is a fully customizable and adjustable Graphic Equalizer that is excellent to adjust your audio to room levels and demands.

Color Schemes: RS Pro installs with the default color scheme but offers 9 different color schemes to choose from now. As in the previous release of RS Pro, all of the colors of RS Pro are able to be set to your personal preferences.

Toolbars/Buttons: Toolbars are now compartmentalized and can be collapsed or expanded depending on your preference or needs. Buttons can be displayed with either small or large icons depending on your choice.

Sound File Editor: Reverse Speech Pro is a fully qualified sound file editor with all the basic functions of a sound editor for the PC computer. Operating much like a Cassette Tape Player/Recorder, RS Pro renders your computer into a Reversing Machine making the analyzation of Reverse Speech easier, faster, and more accessible than ever before.

File Formats Supported: RS Pro currently supports these file formats for the PC computer: .WAV, .MP3*, .SND, .AU, and .RAW file formats. File formats are supported in all frequencies from 1 to 99,999Hz, in either 8 Bit or 16 Bit, Mono or Stereo. Specially designed for RS Pro is large file support of up to 2000 Megabytes or 2 Gigabytes to support long recordings of speech.

Extensive Bookmarking Features: Bookmarking is as easy as highlighting the audio you wish to keep, the selecting Add Bookmark. Features of bookmarking include single point (Flag) or dual point (Range) bookmarking, a Title for the bookmark, text to go with bookmark as in what your Reversal says, and then all information is stored for later use in creating your transcript. Your bookmark also stores the time indices that is later added to your transcript automatically as well.

Special Playback Functions: For making Reverse Speech analyzation easier, several special functions have been designed into the software. These features include Forward and Reverse playback, instant reversing while playing (U-Turn button), and dual speed control for playing the Forwards and the Reverse at different speeds. The dual speed control helps speed analyzation since you can listen to the Forwards at normal or faster than normal speeds, while you can listen to the Reverse at a speed slower than normal which is conducive to analyzation of Reverse Speech.

Auto-Dump Feature: By far the greatest feature of the RS Pro software, the Auto-Dump feature makes the creation of correctly formatted Reversal examples easier than ever. A correctly formatted example consists of 20 to 30 seconds of the Forwards speech, where the Reversal occurs, along with the Reversal cut cleanly out of the main audio file, at 3 speeds respectively, 100%, 85% and 70% of normal speed saved into it's own separate file. This process using tapes, as we have in the past, used to take 20 to 30 minutes per Reversal to create. With RS Pro, this process is reduced to matter of a few seconds per Reversal.

Transcript Generation: Whether you are working in the therapeutic, investigations, or business area of Reverse Speech, you will need a transcript to present along with your findings and examples to your customers. With RS Pro this is simply part of the Auto-Dump process. While you are dumping your Reversal examples into their own separate files, you simply press the Add button in the Auto-Dump window, and this adds all the information previously stored in your bookmarks, titles, what the forward dialogue says, what the Reversal says, all the time indices, etc.., to the transcript, which is then saved as a .RTF Word document and can be printed out for your use.
